About the Artist

Hi, I'm Barbara, an artist and a teaching artist. At Mud to Art - The Clay Room, I am passionate about the art of ceramics. My journey began in elementary school when I discovered a potter’s wheel in the teacher’s office! I wanted to create with clay ever since.

It wasn’t until my 30s that I had the opportunity to take ceramics classes at the local college. Clay has been my passion ever since! I have a love for clay and a desire to create beautiful and fun functional and decorative pieces that bring joy to everyday life.

My second passion is teaching and sharing the joy of creating with clay with my students!
